magazine, articles are more usable if they are accompanied by photos.

We are open-minded about the subject, but articles should relate to the
Greater Columbia, South Carolina area and, above all, they must be
interesting and entertaining. We are interested in stories about homes,
gardens or gardening, the community, and families, but we will consider any
subject as long as it is interesting, done well, and is relevant to the local area.
WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?
We are committed to editorial excellence. Not only is our content well-written
and illustrated with high-quality photography, it is entertaining and captures the
reader’s interest. And it is packaged in a well-designed format.
RIGHTS
We purchase first North American serial rights plus non-exclusive worldwide
electronic rights for placing on our websites.
PAYMENT
Negotiated on an individual basis depending on quality of work. Payable upon
publication. No kill fees. Byline and complimentary copy of magazine provided.
SUBMISSION PROCESS
We prefer the text of your manuscript to be in Microsoft Word. Digital photos
are preferred and should have a resolution of 300 dpi minimum at the size to
be used. Text and photo files can be e-mailed or sent on CD or flash drive.
We cannot be responsible for returning CD’s or flash drives.
