The Carolina Downhome Blues Festival, presented by the Fine Arts Center of Kershaw County, has slated another stellar line-up of blues performances.   Once again, this year’s festival has something for all blues tastes. On the acoustic side, Delta Blues, Piedmont Blues, and Country Blues are all represented. Add in electric Chicago Blues, Blues Rock, and danceable Lowcountry Blues, and you have a truly remarkable mix of blues music. Most performances are within walking distance in a relaxed pub/restaurant crawl atmosphere, with a few nightclub and dancehall sites mixed in. The 15th annual Carolina Downhome Blues Festival is an event not to be missed.
